Hans Lassen Martensen

He’s an incidental figure in the story of Niels Bohr, but he’s partly responsible for the fact that philosophers starting fighting about the relationship between science and faith, and between objective and subjective knowledge. M. didn’t see the kind of extreme dilemma that Kierkegaard (and Nielsen) did.
